Nowaday there is an increase in the use of new technology and science against in serious crime.
For example,CCTV it’s report that they are now 4.2 million cameras in UK.It’s showing to british people that how much safety in this country.It’s quite difficult to refuse a CCTV and DNA database to fighting a crime.All of this helps us to reduce a crime.However both of things got a positive and negetive.A argument about a CCTV has rise.People are sharing a different ideas about CCTV and DNA.That’s a CCTV is necessary for their life.some people was complain about CCTV that it’s seriously policy by government or it’s infringement on personal privacy. In this essay the effact of these both activities fighting crime will be focus on.

First of all let’s start at the benefit of CCTV results.It’s obvious that it’s claimed a 75 percent drop in crime ( Strathclyde police in Scotland).It’s mean CCTV can safe people from a crime such as shooting,fighting and rape.Government has investment a lot of money to make a system of CCTV in UK.Also government believe that it’s will be a excellent benefit in long term.Even if government have to spend too much money for install circuit TV system and maintenance but it’s worth-while for public.Especislly the people who play life safety first.government belief that the video recording on CCTV.it’ll be important basis to catch and investigate a criminal in case.Also they can use it for showing in a court.Therefore we can walking on a street without nervous because a police is surveilance all the times on camera.However some of people felt upset in CCTV about does it infringment of privacy.According Honess T,and Charman E (1992) most of people 72 percent agree that CCtv easily be abused and use by a wrong people.and 37 percent felt that in the future,CCTV use by government to control people.They’re think the CCTV is installed to probe criminal but it’s recoading every moment when people pass it.when our personal detail was record on CCTV,it’s safe or not.Nevertheless government was issue a law to punish authority who use in abuse way.
